Dr Cha is a reconstructive surgeon with qualifications from the University of Sydney and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.  In addition to gaining qualifications in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr Cha has also undertaken further sub-speciality training in hand and wrist surgery by completing the Sydney Hand Surgery Fellowship in 2013 (a twelve month role with the Hand Surgery Units at St. Lukes Hospital and Sydney Hospital).


Dr Cha has public hospital appointments at Gosford Hospital (Plastic Surgery Unit), Royal North Shore Hospital (Burns, Plastic & Maxillofacial Reconstructive Surgery Unit) and Sydney Hospital (Hand Surgery Unit) where he is actively engaged in the training of future plastic surgeons. He is currently the Supervisor of Training at Sydney Hospital.


Dr Cha has special interests in hand surgery, lower limb salvage, reconstructive surgery and microsurgery.
